Constantino's Pasta Bowls and Love You A Latte, two side-by-side eateries on Hamilton Avenue, shut their doors after the Greenwich Health Department flagged a lapsed food-service license under new ownership.

Both are now closed.

The department posted an orange violation notice on the door at 160 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, Patch reported. The notice cited violations of town code and state statutes for operating without a valid license.

The gap traces to a recent sale. Robyn and Michael Bordes, who opened both Chickahominy neighborhood spots in 2024, sold the businesses to Jihaad Alyusuf. Alyusuf also owns Petite Bretagne, a French crêperie with locations in Mamaroneck and Rye, N.Y.

Robyn Bordes told Patch that Alyusuf is working to secure the proper permits and that both restaurants could reopen as early as the week of Tuesday, Sept. 1.

"Life passes too quickly," Bordes told Patch via email. "We love the Greenwich community and look forward to continue supporting both Love You a Latte, Pasta Bowls and other local businesses."

The Bordeses said they sold because they wanted more time with family. Robyn runs a PR firm and Michael operates a construction company.

Under the Bordeses, Constantino's Pasta Bowls let customers build fresh pasta bowls from more than 80 combinations. The menu also included salads, sandwiches, burgers and Italian entrees. Love You A Latte served specialty coffee, lattes and baked goods. The pasta restaurant drew visits from Real Housewives cast members after opening in 2024.

The couple also sold a separate restaurant, Constantino's of Greenwich, in May. That business had operated at 699 W. Putnam Ave. before moving to 136 Hamilton Ave. in 2025. It closed after the sale to a different buyer.

Alyusuf has not commented publicly on his plans for the two Chickahominy locations. Bordes told Patch both spots could reopen once permitting is resolved, possibly as soon as next week.
