Molly Van Sickle turned a flower bike into a brick-and-mortar shop on Sound Beach Avenue in summer 2026.
OG Petals, Van Sickle's boutique floral studio, opened at 238 Sound Beach Ave. in Old Greenwich.
The centerpiece is a stem bar, a glass-topped table stocked with buckets of seasonal flowers. Customers pick their blooms and hand them over. As first reported by Living Greenwich, chalkboard tags listed prices by variety during a visit: snapdragons at $5, dahlias at $6, ranunculus at $5, tulips at $4 and ornamental kale at $4. Selections and prices change with the season.
Pre-made bouquets are also available for grab-and-go, and the shop takes custom arrangement orders made while customers wait, according to Living Greenwich.
The shop's website lists floral subscriptions delivered weekly, every other week or monthly on plans ranging from three to 12 months. Special orders, including bouquets and Thanksgiving centerpieces, are delivered on Thursdays, with local delivery to Old Greenwich, Riverside and Cos Cob at $10 and areas beyond at $15 or more.
Van Sickle also runs workshops at a worktable in the back of the shop. The website lists ikebana flower arranging classes and a wreath-making workshop on Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m. Private workshops and bouquet bars for events are available by request.
The retail side extends past flowers. Living Greenwich described shelves stocked with vases, candles, botanical cards, garden tools and table linens. Toward the rear, vintage furniture, framed botanical prints, ceramics and monogrammed luggage fill out the shop's vintage side.
The shop occupies a retail space in the LBR-2 zoned building, according to a sign and awning application filed with Greenwich's Planning and Zoning Department in April. The previous tenant was I Am Wild LLC.
OG Petals is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 238 Sound Beach Ave.
