Greenwich Library's AuthorsLive series is bringing one of romance fiction's biggest names to town next month.
Tessa Bailey, a No. 1 New York Times bestselling author whom Entertainment Weekly dubbed the "Michelangelo of dirty talk," will appear at the library's Berkley Theater on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m., according to Patch. The free event runs until 8:30 p.m., and registration opened Thursday, Aug. 20, through the library's event calendar.
The event is free. Registration is required.
Bailey, who lives on Long Island, will discuss her upcoming book "Broken Rival," a time-travel romance set for an Oct. 6 release, as well as her popular "Big Shots" sports romance series, which includes titles like "Fangirl Down," "The Au Pair Affair" and "Dream Girl Drama."
Poet, fiction writer and podcast host Laurin Becker Macios will join Bailey onstage for a conversation about her writing process, character inspiration and the craft of romance storytelling.
"Romance is consistently one of the most popular fiction collections at Greenwich Library, so we're excited to welcome this reading audience to the AuthorsLive series," said YinXia Hennessy, the library's author programming librarian. "We also hope this program will offer new visitors an opportunity to discover the Library."
After the program, Diane's Books, the Greenwich bookseller, will have copies of Bailey's titles available for purchase and signing.
The event will also be recorded for those who cannot attend in person. AuthorsLive is supported by the Greenwich Library Board of Trustees and individual donors.
