More than 20 Huskies legends, from Hall of Famers to current NBA stars, will take over Greenwich Country Club on Monday, July 27, for the third annual UConn Legends Golf Tournament.

The star-studded field is headlined by Ray Allen, the Hall of Famer and two-time NBA champion, alongside Donovan Clingan, fresh off a standout rookie season with the Portland Trail Blazers after leading UConn to back-to-back national championships.

They're not coming alone.

Former Huskies greats Emeka Okafor, Alex Karaban, Jeremy Lamb, Khalid El-Amin, Cam Spencer, Travis Knight, Chris Smith and many others are expected to hit the fairways in support of the UConn Foundation's Fight On Fund, which helps provide scholarships, sports medicine, nutrition, academic support and mental health resources for more than 650 student-athletes.

The tournament has quickly become one of Connecticut's premier sports fundraising events. It was launched in 2024 by Greenwich resident Karen Hopp and former UConn standout, NBA champion and current Southern Connecticut State coach Scott Burrell.

Allen, a 10-time NBA All-Star and one of the greatest shooters in basketball history, headlines a lineup that spans multiple generations of Huskies basketball. Okafor returns just months after UConn retired his No. 50 jersey, while Karaban arrives as the program's all-time winningest player after helping capture two national championships before becoming a first-round NBA draft pick in June.

Once the final putt drops, the action shifts off the course. Players, coaches and guests will gather for an evening reception featuring a preview of the 2026-27 UConn men's basketball season, appearances by current players and exclusive auction experiences.

For UConn fans, it's a rare chance to see decades of Huskies stars in one place — all while supporting the next generation of student-athletes.
