More than 50 artists will exhibit and sell work at Binney Park in Old Greenwich on Sunday, Oct. 4. The free outdoor show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Art in the Park, sponsored by the Old Greenwich Merchants Association, fills the paths around Binney Pond with paintings, photographs, ceramics and handmade crafts. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 11.

The show covers a wide range of media. Visitors can browse oils, acrylics, watercolors, photography, mixed media, wood carvings, pen-and-ink drawings, aluminum and plexiglass prints and handmade crafts, according to the Friends of Binney Park event listing.

Among the artists scheduled to appear are painters Zili Zhang, Dennis Stevens and Andrew Sovjani, photographers Jeff Schaller and David Oleski, and mixed-media artists Cheryl Sette and Neha Sharma, according to previews first reported by Greenwich Free Press. A separate Greenwich Free Press preview named additional exhibitors including Kiley Durham, Daniel Angeles, Kathy Chattoraj, Madeline Fulton and Lily Mazzullo.

Artists participating in the show have described Binney Park as one of the best settings for an outdoor art event, according to the Old Greenwich Merchants Association's event page. The association is seeking volunteers to help with setup, breakdown and staffing throughout the day. Residents can sign up through ogmerchants.com.

The event is free and open to the public.

Art in the Park is held twice a year at Binney Park. The fall edition follows a June show at the same location, according to the Friends of Binney Park events page.
