A familiar Glenville dining spot is getting a new chapter.
Greenwich Grill opens Wednesday, July 15, at 6 p.m. in the former Centro space at The Mill, the waterfront complex at 328 Pemberwick Road that has long been known for its views of the Byram River and cascading waterfall.
The restaurant replaces a space Centro occupied for nearly two decades. Manager David Wolvovsky described the new concept as a “nice, classic American grill,” with a menu built around familiar favorites including prime New York strip steak, roasted chicken, grilled salmon, burgers and ribs.
Wolvovsky is a familiar face in Greenwich’s restaurant scene, previously managing Primary Food & Drink, the Graham Elliot restaurant that operated on Greenwich Avenue in 2014.
The restaurant’s cocktail menu includes creations such as the London Mist, made with Earl Grey-infused gin, lavender and lemon, and the Tropical Heat Wave, featuring passionfruit, lime and habanero-infused tequila.
The Mill’s history stretches back more than two centuries, with the site originally home to a late 18th-century textile mill. The brick industrial complex was later transformed into a waterfront residential and dining destination, with the patio overlooking the Byram River falls becoming one of its defining features.
Greenwich Grill will offer both indoor seating and outdoor dining along the waterfall-side patio.
The restaurant opens July 15 at 6 p.m. at 328 Pemberwick Road.
