Greenwich Public Schools will have a new leader overseeing student data and technology systems starting Monday, July 13, as Scott Trungadi moves into the district’s educational data and systems program coordinator role.
Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones announced the appointment Tuesday, July 7, describing Trungadi as the district’s point person for improving how data is collected, managed and used across all 17 schools and programs.
Trungadi spent 11 years as an assistant principal at Central Middle School, where he managed the Aspen student information system, coordinated standardized testing and helped oversee special education planning meetings. He also developed school schedules and supported social-emotional learning programs.
He replaces Jennifer Lau, who retired after more than 25 years with Greenwich Public Schools and most recently led research and information services.
The new role will focus on data systems, analytics and making student information more accessible for teachers and administrators. Trungadi said his goal is to create tools that better support students, families and staff.
The district has not announced a replacement for Trungadi’s assistant principal position at Central Middle School.
