Actress Sydney Sweeney paid a return visit to Candy Connection in Old Greenwich, posing for a photo with shop owner Margaux Marena on Friday, Sept. 11.

The stop marked Sweeney's second trip to the candy shop at 187 Sound Beach Ave. in a matter of months, Patch reported. Candy Connection posted the photo on Instagram, where it drew more than 1,500 likes and 67 comments. The shop called the visit a sweet surprise and said Sweeney could not have been nicer.

Sweeney's Greenwich connection runs through boyfriend Scooter Braun, the music executive who grew up in Cos Cob and attended Greenwich High School. Braun, known for managing artists including Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, was class president and a basketball player at Greenwich High School.

The couple first visited Candy Connection together around June 1, when they were also spotted at the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance car show. The shop thanked them both on Instagram at the time, and that post pulled in more than 4,400 likes. Sweeney and Braun were seen taking photos with fans at the car show, Greenwich Time reported.

It is not Sweeney's first time visiting Greenwich shops. Greenwich Time reported that she came to town in 2024 and bought a Fiat 500 beach mobile from Hampton Jollys at Carriage House Motor Cars on Railroad Avenue.

Sweeney turned 29 on Saturday, Sept. 12, the day after her visit to the candy shop. She is best known for her roles as Cassie Howard in HBO's "Euphoria," which wrapped its third and final season in 2026, and as Olivia Mossbacher in the first season of "The White Lotus." She earned Emmy nominations for both performances.

Candy Connection opened its Sound Beach Avenue storefront in June 2025, according to the New Haven Register. The shop stocks more than 150 varieties of candy and snacks. It also runs pink snack trucks for events across Fairfield and Westchester counties, a mobile operation that started in 2022. The storefront is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
