A private island compound off the Greenwich coast is on the market for $19.5 million. It is one of the only private islands in town with its own bridge.

Farwell's Island, at 36, 38 and 0 Game Cock Road, sits on 1.1 acres and includes a coastal colonial-style main house and a guest house with a combined 10 bedrooms and eight full bathrooms plus one half bath, according to Patch, which reported on the Zillow listing for the property.

The main house alone has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms and 6,166 square feet.

The Brown Harris Stevens listing page confirms the $19.5 million price. That marks a $2.5 million cut from the $22 million asking price the property carried in November 2025, when Greenwich Time profiled the island as part of a spotlight on Greenwich ultra-luxury listings.

Brett Smith, a Realtor with Brown Harris Stevens who co-lists the property with partner Dianna Smith, told Greenwich Time in November 2025 that the compound "… presents the new owner with a Nantucket Island-style living experience, with easy access and convenience to downtown Greenwich and an under one-hour drive to Manhattan."

Smith described the island at the time as having "all the key components that define a true ultra-luxury property," citing its uniqueness, exclusivity and location.

The grounds include a boathouse and dock with deep-water dockage for multiple boats, swimming piers, a private beach, formal gardens and outdoor dining terraces. The Zillow listing highlights unobstructed views of Long Island Sound. Smith told Greenwich Time the setting offers 360-degree water views stretching to the shores of Long Island.

At $19.5 million, the property is priced at roughly 4.5 times Greenwich's median listing price of $4.25 million, according to Realtor.com data as of August 2026. That median is up 16.6% year over year.
