Greenwich Crew brought home two gold medals from the 2026 USRowing Youth National Championships, held June 12–15 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.

The Men's Youth 2V 8+ won the national title with a time of 6:06.40, crossing the finish line more than two seconds ahead of the field. Nikash Bhandari coxed the championship boat, joined by rowers Tyler Hatstadt, Hunter Zeppelin, Nicholas Hall, Vicente Estela, Ryder Garcia, Sean McKenna, Theodore Nestoros, and Nicholas Riley.

The Women's U16 8+ claimed the program's second gold, finishing in 6:46.34. Hannah Port coxed the crew of Hannah Kutai, Adeline Collins, Eliza Harper, Kaelani Becker, Liv Hadley, Amaya Leah Ahsan, Arielle Levy, and Beatriz Hirsch.

"The 2V put together a strong race when it mattered most," Men's Head Coach Cary Wasserman told Greenwich Time. "They executed the plan, stayed composed, and trusted each other from start to finish. Winning a national championship takes a lot of work over a long season, and this crew earned it."

Greenwich Crew also earned two silver medals. The Women's Youth 4+ posted a time of 7:14.16, and the Men's U17 8+ finished in 6:15.62. In all, the program placed nine boats in the top 10 at nationals, including a fourth-place finish by the Women's Youth 2V 8+ and a fifth-place result from the Women's Youth 8+.

Women's Head Coach Paul Ruggeberg praised the team's composure throughout the four-day regatta.

The national results capped a dominant 2025–2026 season for Greenwich Crew, which swept the Overall Team Points Trophy at the USRowing Regional Youth Championships at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, New Jersey, and sent a program-record number of boats to nationals.
