Rolapp completed 15 of 17 passes with three passing touchdowns and two rushing scores at Cosby Field. The victory pushed Brunswick to 5-0 and set up a Senior Day showdown with Northeast Prep League rival Phillips Andover Academy on Saturday, Oct. 24.
The Bruins are ranked No. 1 in Connecticut by the Massey Ratings, according to On3. They are averaging 36 points per game while allowing 12 through five weeks.
Brunswick seized control early, recovering a Cheshire Academy fumble on the opening kickoff at the Cats' 20-yard line. Running back Sawyer Bligh scored on a 4-yard run four plays later. The Bruins led 20-14 at halftime before shutting out Cheshire 21-0 in the second half, piling up 432 yards of offense to the Cats' 166.

On defense, linebacker Oliver Caspi posted a team-high 11 tackles, two for a loss. Defensive back Madsen Erhart, a team captain, intercepted a pass on Cheshire's first drive.
Head coach Wayne McGillicuddy praised Rolapp on X after the game, writing that the Boston College commit "leads by example, outworks everyone & elevates those around him." McGillicuddy noted Rolapp's three-game stretch of 83.3 percent completions, 786 total yards, 12 touchdowns and zero turnovers. On3 reported a three-game passing line of 35-of-42 for 716 yards and nine touchdowns.
Rolapp said the offense found a better balance between the run and the pass against Cheshire than in previous games. He is in his second season with Brunswick after transferring from Darien and committed to Boston College in June, according to On3.
Phillips Andover (3-3), led by former New England Patriots staffer Ernie Adams, visits Cosby Field on Saturday, Oct. 24, for Senior Day.
